Merit scholarship and resilience scholarship

Merit and resilience scholarships are awarded on the proposal of the form teacher (written recommendation), in accordance with Art. 7 of OME No. 5.518/2024.

  • The merit scholarship is awarded to lower secondary pupils with an overall average of at least 9.50 for the previous school year, to 5th-grade pupils whose average for the first two learning periods is at least 9.50 (recommendation in January 2025), and to pupils who won first, second or third prize at the county stages of school olympiads recognised by the Ministry of Education.
  • The resilience scholarship is awarded to lower secondary pupils with an overall average of at least 7 for the previous school year, in descending order of averages, and to 5th-grade pupils whose average for the first two learning periods is at least 7 (recommendation in January 2025).
  • The number of merit and resilience scholarships awarded on the basis of averages is 30% of the number of pupils in each class.
  • Only pupils who passed all subjects and had a conduct mark of 10 in the 2023–2024 school year may receive these scholarships.

The application file includes a copy of the pupil’s birth certificate or identity card, a copy of the parent’s identity document and a bank account statement. For olympiad prizes, the parent’s application and a copy of the diploma, certified as a true copy of the original, are also required.
