Social vouchers for educational support
Social vouchers for educational support
Through the national programme “Educational support for disadvantaged pre-school children and pupils in state pre-school, primary and lower secondary education”, children from low-income families can receive electronic social vouchers (cards). The programme is funded from European funds.
The vouchers are used to buy school supplies, school bags and clothing needed for school or kindergarten.
Who can benefit and how to apply
Who can benefit and how to apply
- Pre-school children and pupils in state primary and lower secondary education from families within the income threshold set for the school year in question can benefit.
- The application is submitted by the parent or legal representative, at the school, during the announced period.
- The school passes the data on, and eligibility is checked by the authorities.
Good to know: The value of the voucher, the income threshold, the application form and the submission deadline for the 2026-2027 school year are communicated by the school’s school office.
Important: The application must be submitted again for each school year, if that year’s methodology requires it. Ask at the school office whether the previous year’s file is still valid.
