How posts at the school are filled

The school employs teaching staff (early childhood education teachers, primary school teachers, subject teachers), auxiliary teaching staff (for example, secretary, financial administrator, IT specialist) and non-teaching staff (caretakers, maintenance workers). How a post is filled depends on its category.

Good to know: Notices of competitions organised by the school are published on this page, in the list at the end.

Teaching posts

Teaching posts are filled through the teaching staff mobility stages and through the national competitions, according to the methodology approved by order of the Minister of Education. These stages are organised, for the most part, by the Bistrița-Năsăud County School Inspectorate (ISJ).

The list of vacancies and the calendar of the stages are published on the website of the Bistrița-Năsăud County School Inspectorate. If a stage takes place at school level, we also publish the notice here.

Auxiliary teaching and non-teaching posts

For contractual auxiliary teaching and non-teaching posts, the school organises its own competitions, under the Framework Regulation approved by Government Decision no. 1336/2022 on the organisation and career development of contractual staff in the budgetary sector paid from public funds.

Under the regulation:

  • the competition notice is published at the school’s premises, on the school’s website and on the posturi.gov.ro portal;
  • for a vacant post, the notice is published at least 15 working days before the first test (10 working days for a temporarily vacant post);
  • the competition normally has three stages: selection of application files, the written test and/or the practical test, and the interview;
  • if only one candidate registers, the post is filled by examination.

The application file

The notice for each competition specifies the documents required. The file normally contains:

  • the registration form;
  • a copy of the identity document and, where applicable, of the document certifying a change of name;
  • copies of the educational qualifications and of the documents proving that the specific requirements of the post are met;
  • documents certifying length of service;
  • the criminal record certificate and the certificate of behavioural integrity;
  • a medical certificate;
  • a curriculum vitae.

Copies of documents are presented together with the originals, for verification.

Competition results

The results of each stage are displayed at the school’s premises and on this page, normally within one working day at the latest. Under the regulation, candidates are identified by the numerical code received on registration, not by name. Candidates may lodge an appeal within the time limit specified in the notice.

Notices from previous years remain published for transparency. The 2022 competition was organised under the regulation applicable at that time (Government Decision no. 286/2011).
